Spell Description

The next time you attack a creature with a weapon before the end of your turn, your weapon is engulfed in otherworldly flames as you strike. You gain a bonus to your weapon attack roll equal to your spellcasting ability modifier.

On a hit, the attack deals an extra 6d6 fire damage to the target. If the attack is a critical hit, the attack deals an additional 3d6 points of fire damage.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the fire damage increase by 2d6 and the additional damage on a critical hit increases by 1d6 for each slot above 4th.
