You ignore half cover when you make ranged attacks.

In addition, when you take the attack action with a ranged overdraw weapon, you can make a special attack in place of any of attack with the weapon, an overdraw shot.

• Overdraw Shot. You have disadvantage on the attack. On a hit, you add both your Dexterity and your Strength modifier to the weapon’s damage roll (instead of only one of them).
