Spell Description

You funnel destructive energy into a creature you touch. The target takes 6d10 necrotic damage and must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed saving throw, the target also becomes vulnerable the next instance of damage it takes before the start of your next turn.

If the target fails the saving throw, its hit point maximum is also reduced for 1 hour by an amount equal to the necrotic damage it took.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the necrotic damage increases by 2d10 for each slot above 6th.
