You utter a grim omen that curses a creature that you can see within range for the duration. For the duration, you can use a bonus action to move the curse to a new target. When you cast this spell or whenever you use a bonus action to move the curse to another target, the target suffers one of the following effects while cursed:

• While cursed, the target takes an additional 1d4 necrotic damage whenever a creature of your choice (chosen when you curse the target) hits it with an attack. 

• While cursed, the target has disadvantage on ability checks made with one ability score of your choice (chosen when you curse the target).

A remove curse cast on a target ends this spell early.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd or 4th level, you can maintain your concentration on the spell for up to 8 hours. When you use a spell slot of 5th level or higher, you can maintain your concentration on the spell for up to 24 hours.
