If the creature dies while under the effect of this spell, the spell reincarnates the soul in a new body after 10 days after which the spell ends. The new body forms in a place chosen when you cast this spell. If the target's soul isn't free or willing to reincarnate, the spell ends without an effect.

The magic fashions a new body for the creature to inhabit, which likely causes the creature's species to change. The DM chooses a new species for the creature (or determines it randomly from the list of available species). The new species must be a giant, fey, humanoid, or monstrosity.

The reincarnated creature recalls its former life and experiences. It retains the capabilities it had in its original form, except it exchanges its original ancestry for the new one and changes its heritage traits accordingly (your choice).
