When you cast this spell, you must touch either the chest or the miniature replica that serves as a material component for the spell.

If you touch the chest, it is immediately transported to the astral plane. If you cast this spell on the replica that was used in a previous casting of this spell, you instead recall the chest. The chest appears in an unoccupied space on the ground within 5 feet of you.

This spell ends when you cast it again on another chest, if the smaller replica chest is destroyed, or if you choose to end the spell as an action. If the spell ends and the larger chest is in the astral plane, it is irretrievably lost.
