Dragon Descendant Features |

|
Dragon Magic If you expend
sorcery points to cast a spell from the ‘dragon descendant’ spell list that
deals damage or provides resistance to a type of damage, the damage type of
the spell changes to match the damage type of your draconic heritage (see
below) and you can add your Charisma modifier to the spell’s damage rolls. If you replace a
spell from you manifestation spell list, the new spell must be an evocation
or an abjuration spell from the primal spell list. Draconic Manifestation Beginning from 3rd
level, you take on draconic features, and your skin becomes covered by a thin
sheen of dragon-like scales or protruding horns granting you the following
benefits: •
Dragon Hide. While
you are not wearing any armour, shield or helmet, your armour class equals 10
+ you Charisma modifier + your Dexterity modifier. •
Dragon Tongue. You
can also speak, read, and write draconic. Additionally, whenever you make a
Charisma check when interacting with dragons, your proficiency bonus is
doubled if it applies to the check. •
Dragon Heritage. You
must choose one type of dragon heritage (see the ‘dragon heritage’ table).
The damage type of your dragon heritage determines damage type and resistance
granted by some of your dragon descendant features. Draconic Affinity Starting at 10th
level, your draconic manifestation improves, granting you the following
benefits: •
Dragon Resistance. You
gain resistance to the damage type associated with your ‘dragon heritage’. •
Dragon Wings. You
sprout a pair of dragon wings from your back, giving you a 60-foot fly speed.
You cannot use these wings if your wear armour. •
Dragon Breath. Once
between long rests, you can cast cone of cold (even if you have
replaced it from your list of ‘dragon manifestation spells’) as if you had
expended 5 sorcery points to cast it with your ‘dragon magic’ feature. When
you use this ability, you cast the spell without expending a spell slot or
sorcery points. |

Draconic Presence Beginning
at 14th level, you can channel the dreadful presence of your dragon ancestor,
causing those around you to become struck with awe or fear. As
an action, you draw on this power and exude an aura of awe or fear (your
choice) to a distance of 60 feet. For 10 minutes or until you lose your
concentration (as if you were concentrating on a spell), each hostile
creature that starts its turn in this aura must succeed on a Wisdom saving
throw or be charmed (awe) or frightened (fear) by
you until the aura ends. A creature that succeeds on this saving throw is
immune to your aura for 24 hours. Once
you use this ability, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest,
unless you spend 5 sorcery points to use it again. |
