As a clergy, the cloistered scholar serves as a custodian of esoteric knowledge and seek to uncovered forgotten rites and secrets about their religious dictum.

Religious Scholar

Your gain proficiency and expertise in Religion. You also gain proficiency in one of the following skills: Arcana, History, Medicine, or Nature.

Forgotten Rituals

At 5th level, you learn two ritual spells that are 3rd level or lower spell from any spell list. These spells are cleric spells for you.

When you cast a cleric spell as a ritual, you can use the spell’s normal casting time, rather than adding 10 minutes to it. Once you use this ability, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.

Esoteric Secrets

At 10th level, you can choose one spells of each of 1st through 5th spell level from any spell list and add them to your list of spells you can prepare through your ‘divine aspect’.

You can also cast one 1st level spell on your list of ‘divine aspect’ spells once between short or long rests without expending a spell slot. You do not have to have this spell prepared to cast it.
