A warpriest’s divine calling is often played
out on the battlefield. These individuals answer to their divine call by
helping those in battle wielding their deity’s favoured weapons and honing
their own combat skills. |

Armoured Priest You gain
proficiency in heavy armour. Armoured
Casting You ignore spell
failure from armour when you cast cleric spells wearing heavy armour. Favoured Weapon During a short
rest, you can perform a special ceremony on a weapon that you touch for the
duration of the ceremony. This weapon becomes your favoured weapon until you
use this ability again on a new weapon. You are proficient
with your favoured weapon, and you can use it as a spellcasting focus for
your cleric spells. Combat Cleric At 5th level, you
learn the magic weapon and elemental weapon spells. When
you cast these spells, you must cast them on your favoured weapon. You also learn one
cantrip of your choice that requires a weapon as a material component (such
as booming blade, divine strike, or moonfire arc). These spells are
cleric spells for you. Divine Instrument At 10th level, you
learn one fighting style the list of fighting styles available to the
fighter. You can change a fighting style you know to another fighting style
you don’t have whenever you finish a long rest. |
