The Arcane Bloodline sorcerer draws their magic from an enigmatic lineage, tracing back to powerful archmages, ancient arcane forces, or even forgotten magical artifacts.

Arcane Origin

You learn sorcerer spells from the arcane spell list, and you know the prestidigitation cantrip.

Potent Arcane Origin

At 6th level, you choose one of the following features:

•          Arcane Senses. You know the detect magic and identify spells and can cast them without expending spell slots and they do not require material components. You can also add a bonus equal to your Charisma modifier to any Intelligence and Wisdom ability checks.

•          Magical Prodigy. Your number of maximum sorcery points is increased by one.

•          Spell Absorption. Once between long rests, when you succeed on a saving throw against a spell that targets only you, you can use a reaction to negate that spell and gain a number of sorcery points equal to the level of the spell.
