Barbarian: Warrior Tradition: Headhunter

A headhunter is a relentless predator, honing their instincts and combat skills to track and eliminate their prey with ruthless efficiency.

Headhunter Features

Hunter of Prey

Beginning at 2nd level, you can mark a creature as a reaction when it becomes bloodied. The creature must be within 60 feet of you when you use this feature, and you must be able to see the creature. Until you mark another creature, you gain the following benefits against the marked creature:

          When you make reckless attacks, you marked target does not gain advantage on attacks against you.

          You can add your rage potency to any skill check you make related to your marked target.

          If you reduce your marked target to 0 hit points, you can perform a brutal ritual that takes one minute on the marked creature. At the end of this ritual, you gain 1d12 + your rage potency temporary hit points.

 

Leader of the Hunt

Beginning at 10th level, you gain the following benefits:

          When another creature attacks the target marked by your ‘hunter of prey’ feature, you can use a reaction to give the attacker advantage on the triggering attack roll and all attacks until the end of the triggering creature’s turn. You must be within 10 feet of both the triggering creature and the marked creature to use this ability.

          The temporary hit points you gain from your ‘hunter of prey’ feature is increased to 2d12 + your rage potency.

 

Predator’s Kill

Beginning at 17th level, you can draw on ancient predators to make a special melee attack as an action, a Predator Strike. This attack must be made with a melee weapon you are wielding against a target marked by your ‘hunter of prey’ feature:

          Predator Strike. On a hit, the target becomes vulnerable to all damage from this attack and must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take an additional 3d12 damage from this attack. Once the attack has been resolved, this damage vulnerability ends.

You can use this special attack once between short or long rests.
