Spellweaving Options

When you expend a spell slot as a bonus action to weave a spell from the incantation, the spell’s power level becomes equal to the level of the expended spell slot plus your spellpower. In addition, you can add spellweaving option with a total cost equal to the total power level of the spell:

Thunder Strike (Costs 1)

This spellweaving option changes the spell in the following way:

Replaces Range: The spell’s range instead becomes ‘special’.

Adds to Components: The spell also requires a material component: a weapon.

Replaces Target(s): The spell instead targets one creature. Make an attack using the weapon used to cast the spell. On a hit, the target suffers the weapon’s damage as normal as well as the spell’s effect.

Distant Thunder (Costs 2)

This spellweaving option changes the spell in the following way:

Replaces Range: The spell’s range is instead 60 feet (sight). Each additional time you add this option, the range of the spell increases by an additional 60 feet.

Thunderwave (Costs 2)

This spellweaving option changes the spell in the following way:

Replaces Range: The spell’s range is instead 15 feet (line).

Replaces Target(s): The spell instead target’s all creatures in a cone: Target creatures must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or suffer the spell’s effect. On a successful saving throw, a creature still takes half damage from the spell’s effect but does not suffer any other part of the effect. Each additional time you add this option, the range of the spell increases by an additional 15 feet.
