Bard: Bardic College: College of Lore

Bards of the College of Lore know something about most things, collecting bits of knowledge from sources as diverse as scholarly tomes and peasant tales.

Lore Proficiencies

When you join the college of lore at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with three of the following skills: Arcana, History, Investigation, Medicine, Nature, Religion, or Survival.

Expanded Magical Knowledge

At 3rd level, you also learn two 1st level spells from any spell list that have the ritual tag.

Bardic Recovery

At 6th level, you can choose expended spell slots to recover when you finish a short rest. The spell slots can have a combined level that is equal to or less than half your bard level (rounded up). You can use this feature once between long rests.

For example, if you’re a 6th-level bard, you can recover up to three levels worth of spell slots, allowing you to recover (e.g.) a 2nd level spell as well as a 1st level spell slot.

Magical Secrets

At 18th level, you learn stronger bardic magic. Choose one 6th level spell from any spell list. You can cast this spell without expending a spell slot once between long rests. You can change this spell to another 6th level spell whenever you finish a long rest.
