Wizard: School Specialisation: Necromancy

Necromancy magic deals with the manipulation of life force, death, and undeath, often involving the reanimation of the dead or draining vitality.

Necromancy Features

Grim Harvest

At 3rd level, you gain the ability to reap life energy from creatures you kill with your spells.

Once per turn, you can gain one of these benefits:

If a creature dies while under the effect of one of necromancy spells of 1st level or higher that requires concentration, you regain hit points equal to twice the spell's level.

If one or more creatures die from one of your necromancy spells of 1st level or higher, you regain hit points for each creature reduced to 0 hit points equal to twice the spell’s level.

You don’t gain these benefits for killing constructs or undead.

Death’s Bargain

Beginning at 10th level, when you or another creature you can see within 30 feet of you is reduced to 0 hit points, you can use a reaction to instead have that creature be reduced to 1 hit point. When you use this ability, you must also target another willing creature within 30 feet of you. The willing creature’s life bound to the triggering creature. This bond lasts for 1 minute.

For the duration, the triggering creature cannot regain hit points. Instead, every time it takes damage, the bound creature takes this damage instead.

You cannot target a summoned creature with this feature except undead creatures you have created that are under your control.

You cannot use this ability again for the duration of the bond. The bond ends early if the bound creature drops to 0 hit points. When the effect ends, the triggering creature drops to 0 hit points immediately and you cannot use this feature on that creature until it has regained hit points.
