Transmutation
Transmutation magic alters the properties and nature of objects and creatures, changing their form, composition, or abilities.
Transmuter’s Stone
Starting at 3rd level, you can spend 8 hours creating a transmuter’s stone that stores transmutation magic.
You can benefit from the stone yourself or give the stone to another creature. Any creature that holds the stone gains a benefit of your choice as long as the stone is in the creature’s possession.
When you create the stone, choose the benefit from the following options:
Attentive. The creature gains darkvision out to a range of 60 feet.
Fast. The creature’s speed increases by 10 feet while the creature is unencumbered.
Resilient. The creature’s armour class cannot be lower than 13 + Your Intelligence modifier.
Resistant. The creature has resistance to acid, cold, fire, lightning, poison or thunder damage (you can change this choice whenever you chose this benefit).
Restorative. The creature regains an additional 1d4 hit points whenever it regain hit points.
Each time you cast a transmutation spell of 1st level or higher, you can gain the benefit of either or both of these effects if the stone is on your person:
You change the effect of your stone into another effect.
If the spell requires concentration, you can choose the target of the spell to also gain the benefit of the stone for the duration of the spell.
If you create a new transmuter’s stone, the previous one ceases to function.
Master Transmuter
Beginning at 10th level, you can use your action to consume the reserve of transmutation magic stored within your transmuter’s stone in a single burst. Your transmuter’s stone is destroyed and can’t be remade until you finish a long rest. When you do so, choose one of the following effects
Major Transformation. You immediately cause 5th level or lower transmutation spell in your spellbook to simply take effect. This spell does not require concentration and it lasts for the spell’s full duration. You must still provide the chosen spell with any costly material components it requires.
Panacea. You remove all curses and poisons affecting a creature that you touch with the transmuter’s stone. The creature also regains all its hit points and ends the following conditions: dazed, diseased, fatigued, poisoned, and weakened.
Restore Life. You cast the raise dead spell on a creature you touch with the transmuter’s stone without expending a spell slot or needing to have the spell in your spellbook. Casting the spell like this does not require material components.
Restore Youth. You touch the transmuter’s stone to a willing creature, and that creature’s apparent age is reduced by 3d10 years, to a minimum of 13 years.
