Cleric

Cleric: Divine Domain: Arcane

Magic is an energy that suffuses the multiverse and that fuels both destruction and creation. Gods of the Arcana domain govern and gatekeep the secrets of magic intimately.

Arcane Domain Features

Domain Spells

Once you reach a level in this class that allows you to cast spells of the appropriate level, you always have the arcane domain spells prepared, and they do not count against the number of spells you can prepare each day.

If you have a domain spell that doesn’t appear on the divine spell list, the spell is nonetheless a cleric spell for you.

Blessing of Magic

When you choose this domain at 3rd level, you learn one cantrip of your choice from the arcane spell list. You can change this cantrip for another cantrip from the arcane spell list whenever you finish a long rest. For you, this cantrip counts as cleric spell.

Expanded spell list

Your domain spell list also includes additional domain spells (already included on the domain spell list).

Channel Divinity: Arcane Shimmer

Beginning at 6th level, you can use your ‘channel divinity’ to unleash a burst of magical energy in a 10-foot radius centred on yourself as an action. This energy manifests as a shimmering aura that lasts for 1 minute, or until you lose your concentration (as if you were concentrating on a spell). For the duration allies within the aura gain advantage on saving throws against spells.

Purge Magic

Starting at 10th level, you can cast remove curse or dispel magic without expending a spell slot. When you cast one of these spells with this ability, the spell has a range of ‘touch and it is cast as if you had expended a 5th level spell slot.

You can use this ability once between short or long rests.

Arcane Apostle

At 14th level, you choose four spells from the arcane spell list. They are always prepared and count as cleric spells for you. These spells must be of a level you can cast, as shown on the cleric table.

Whenever you finish a long rest, you can choose one of these spells and replace it with another spell from the arcane spell list, which must also be of a level you can cast, as shown on the cleric table.
