Fighter: Martial Archetype: Knight Banneret

The Knight Banneret is a fighter skilled at leading soldiers into battle. The mere presence of a knight in a hamlet is enough to cause some orcs or bandits to seek easier prey.

Knight Banneret Features

Banner Leader

When you become a knight banneret, you learn to bolster your companions.

When you or one of your allies that you can see reduce another creature to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to give all creatures of your choice within 60 feet a 1d4 bonus to ability checks, attack rolls, and saving throws until the end of your next turn.

Rallying Recovery

When you use your 'second wind’ feature, friendly creatures within 60 feet who can see or hear you restore a number of hit points equal to your fighter level + your Charisma modifier.

Inspiring Surge

Starting at 10th level, when you use your ‘action surge’ feature, you can choose one creature within 30 feet of you that is friendly to you. That creature can immediately use a reaction to take an action, provided that it can see or hear you.

Bulwark Leader

Beginning at 15th level, you gain the following abilities:

You can choose two allies within 60 feet of you, rather than one, when you use your ‘inspiring surge’ feature.

Whenever you use your ‘indomitable’ feature, all creatures of your choice within 30 feet of you gain advantage on saving throw until the end of your next turn, including against the spell or ability that had you use your ‘indomitable’ feature.
