War Wizard Features |
|
War Magic As a war mage,
you gain training with light armour, medium armour, and shields. Armoured
Casting You ignore
spell failure from armour when you cast wizard spells wearing light or medium
armour. Focused Magus As a reaction,
when you have to make a Constitution saving throw to maintain concentration
on a spell, you gain a bonus to the saving throw equal to your Intelligence
modifier (minimum of +1). Power Surge Starting at 6th
level, you can store magical energy within yourself to later empower your
damaging spells. In its stored form, this energy is called a power surge: •
You have two power surges that you regain when you
finish a long rest. •
Once per turn when you cast a spell of 1st level or
higher, you can use a power surge to treat the spell as if it was cast using
a spell slot 1 level higher. You cannot increase the spell’s total level
above 6th level when you use a power surge. Durable Magic Beginning at
14th level, you gain the following benefits: •
While you maintain concentration on a spell, you
gain +2 bonus to AC and all saving throws. •
Once between short or long rests, when you or
another creature loses concentration on a spell, you can use a reaction to
restore and expended ‘power surge’. |
