Bard: Peerless Skills

At 5th level, you can choose one of the following skills that you are proficient with: Acrobatics, Animal Handling, Deception, Insight, Intimidation, Investigation, Performance, Persuasion, Sleight of Hand, and Stealth.

Once between long rests you can forgo rolling the chosen skill and automatically succeed on the roll instead (as described for each peerless skill). You also gain an additional magical ability depending on the skill you have chosen.

You can change your chosen skill for another skill you are proficient in from the list whenever you gain a level in this class.

Peerless Skill Options:

Acrobatics: Aerialist

Once between long rests, you can automatically succeed on an ability check using Acrobatics instead of rolling.

If you spend at least 1 minute practicing and familiarizing yourself with an area you are in (such as city streets, cave tunnels, or the king’s throne room). You gain a climb speed and a fly speed on your turn equal to your walking speed while you remain in that area as you magically propel yourself forward and upwards performing mid-air tricks.

At the end of each of your turns, you lose this flying speed and drop to the ground. When you drop to the ground like this, you can drop up to 30 feet without taking damage.
