At 5th level, you can choose one of the following skills that you are proficient with: Acrobatics, Animal Handling, Deception, Insight, Intimidation, Investigation, Performance, Persuasion, Sleight of Hand, and Stealth.

Once between long rests you can forgo rolling the chosen skill and automatically succeed on the roll instead (as described for each peerless skill). You also gain an additional magical ability depending on the skill you have chosen.

You can change your chosen skill for another skill you are proficient in from the list whenever you gain a level in this class.

Sleight of Hand: Borrower

Once between long rests, you can automatically succeed on an ability check using Sleight of Hand instead of rolling.

When you spend at least 1 minute examining an area, you can magically have one item you are aware of disappear from a place or creature and appear in your pockets. The item must be small enough to be hidden under your clothes. This fails if any creature other than you is paying attention to the item for the duration. You could use this ability to magically lift the keys from a guard or steal a diamond from the cleric’s component pouch.
