Bard: Peerless Skills |
|
At 5th level, you
can choose one of the following skills that you are proficient with:
Acrobatics, Animal Handling, Deception, Insight, Intimidation, Investigation,
Performance, Persuasion, Sleight of Hand, and Stealth. Once between long
rests you can forgo rolling the chosen skill and automatically succeed on the
roll instead (as described for each peerless skill). You also gain an
additional magical ability depending on the skill you have chosen. You can change your
chosen skill for another skill you are proficient in from the list whenever
you gain a level in this class. |

Intimidation: Fear Monger Once between long
rests, you can automatically succeed on an ability check using Intimidation
instead of rolling. If you speak to a
humanoid alone for at least 1 minute, you can attempt to magically seed
paranoia in its mind. At the end of the conversation, the target must succeed
on a Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you or another
creature of your choice. The target is frightened in this
way for 1 hour, until it is attacked or damaged, or until it
witnesses its allies being attacked or damaged. For the duration, the
creature will do all it can to stay out of the way of the source of its fear.
If the target succeeds on its saving throw, the target has no hint that you
tried to frighten it. |
