Bard: Peerless Skills |
|
At 5th level, you
can choose one of the following skills that you are proficient with:
Acrobatics, Animal Handling, Deception, Insight, Intimidation, Investigation,
Performance, Persuasion, Sleight of Hand, and Stealth. Once between long
rests you can forgo rolling the chosen skill and automatically succeed on the
roll instead (as described for each peerless skill). You also gain an
additional magical ability depending on the skill you have chosen. You can change your
chosen skill for another skill you are proficient in from the list whenever
you gain a level in this class. |

Persuasion: Silver tongued Once between long
rests, you can automatically succeed on an ability check using Persuasion
instead of rolling. If you speak to a
humanoid alone for at least 1 minute, you can attempt to magically influence
it. At the end of the conversation, the target must succeed on a Wisdom
saving throw or be charmed by you or another creature of your choice
for up to 1 hour. For the duration, the creature is willing to do almost
anything to help the creature it is charmed by. The creature won’t
fight for you unless it was already inclined to fight on your behalf. This
effect ends on a target when you use this ability again, if it takes any
damage, if you attack it, or if it witnesses you attacking or damaging any of
its allies. |
