Arcanist: Infusion

Arcane Cannon

This infusion can be placed on a weapon with the trigger property.

The arcane cannon can be used as a spellcasting focus.

Infusion Options

Flame Cannon

As a bonus action, you the weapon spews a line that is 30 feet long and 5 feet wide. Roll a number of d6 equal to the creator’s intelligence modifier. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed saving throw, a creature takes fire damage equal to the roll and starts burning. Creatures take half as much damage on a successful save and do not start burning. You can use this ability once between short or long rests.

 

Force Cannon

As a bonus action, the next attack you make with the weapon before the end of your turn becomes infused with magic. The attack is made with advantage and ignores disadvantage if made within the weapon’s long range. On a hit, the weapon deals an additional 1d6 force damage, and the target is pushed 10 feet away from you. You can use this bonus action a number of times between long rests equal to the creator’s intelligence modifier.

 

Stun Cannon

As a bonus action, you send a wave of debilitating energy at one target within 60 feet. On a hit, the target must make a Constitution saving throw or become stunned until the end of your next turn or until it takes damage. You can use this bonus action a number of times between short or long rests equal to the creator’s Intelligence modifier.
