Bardic Tradition
Clown
A physical performer who uses diametral opposites to engage the audience’s mind and preconceptions, such as by merging humour with serious topics or ridiculing those that are considered pious.
Skilled Clown
You gain proficiency in one of the following skills: Deception, Intimidation, or Performance
Slapstick Performance
As a bonus action, you can expend one of your bardic performance dice to start a slapstick performance. The slapstick performance lasts until the end of your next turn.
For the duration, the first time on a turn a creature moves within 5 feet of you or ends its turn there it must succeed on a saving throw or suffer one effect. You choose whether the target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw to avoid taking damage equal to a roll of your bardic performance die or succeed a Strength saving throw to avoid being pushed 5 feet away from you and falling prone.
Unsettling Mask
You learn the unnerving gaze cantrip.
Dreadful Humour
Beginning at 10th level, you learn the cause fear spell and you can expend a bardic performance die to cast cause fear without expending a spell slot. When you cast cause fear with this ability, the spell does not require concentration and you can target up to two creatures with it.
In addition, any creature that is frightened by you rolls your bardic performance die at the beginning of its turn and takes psychic damage equal to the roll.
On your turn, you can increase the damage frightened creatures take from this feature by expending a bardic performance die as a bonus action. Until the beginning of your next turn, each creature within 60 feet of you rolls a number of Bardic performance dice equal to the total number of creatures frightened by you within 60 feet of you instead of only one die when calculating the psychic damage it takes.
Unlikely Resilience
Beginning at 14th level, you can use your reaction when you take damage to instead not take any damage. You can use this feature once between short or long rests.
