Clown Features

Skilled Clown

You gain proficiency in one of the following skills: Deception, Intimidation, or Performance

Slapstick Performance

As a bonus action, you can expend one of your bardic performance dice to start a slapstick performance. The slapstick performance lasts until the beginning of your next turn.

Until the slapstick performance ends, a creature must succeed on a saving throw or suffer one effect the first time on a turn a creature moves within 5 feet of you or ends its turn there:

The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw to avoid taking damage equal to a roll of your bardic performance die

The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw to avoid being pushed 5 feet away from you and falling prone.

Hideous Humour

You learn the hideous laughter spell and can cast it once long rests without expending a spell slot. If a hideous laughter spell cast by you lasts for its full duration, you regain the ability to cast this spell without expending a spell slot.

Dreadful Joke

Beginning at 10th level, you learn the cause fear spell, and you can expend a bardic performance die to cast cause fear without expending a spell slot. When you cast cause fear with this ability, the spell does not require concentration, and you can target up to two creatures with it.

In addition, any creature that is frightened by you rolls your bardic performance die at the beginning of its turn and takes psychic damage equal to the roll. On your turn, you can increase the damage frightened creatures take from this feature by expending a bardic performance die as a bonus action. Until the beginning of your next turn, creatures frightened by you within 60 feet of you instead roll a number of bardic performance dice equal to the total number of creatures frightened by you within 60 feet instead and take psychic damage equal to the roll total.

Unlikely Resilience

Beginning at 14th level, you can use your reaction when you take damage to instead not take any damage. You can use this feature once between short or long rests.
