Sleight of hands Expert Musician You also choose
one instrument you are proficient with. You gain expertise with this
instrument. Dissonant Chord If you are
concentrating on a spell or an effect, you can stop concentrating on that
spell or effect as a bonus action: •
Performance.
If you were concentrating on an effect that was
created by you spending a bardic performance dice (such as your ‘bardic
performance’), you roll your bardic performance dice and all creatures within
30 feet of you take thunder damage equal to the roll. •
Spell.
If you were concentrating on a spell, you must expend a bardic performance
dice to use this feature. When you do so, roll your bardic performance dice a
number of times equal to the level of the spell. All creature within 30 feet
of you must make a Constitution saving throw or take thunder damage equal to
the roll, or half as much damage on a successful saving throw. Any creature
that rolls a Constitution saving throw to maintain concentration on a spell
as a result of this damage makes that saving throw with disadvantage. Wandering Minstrel Once between
short or long rests, you can move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity
attacks whenever you expend a bardic performance dice. Minstrel’s Performance Beginning at
10th level, you can expend one of your bardic performance dice to start a
‘minstrel’s performance’ as a bonus action. On subsequent turns, you must use
your bonus action to maintain the minstrel’s performance. You can maintain
your minstrel’s performance for up to 1 minute or until you stop
concentrating (as if you were concentrating on a spell). When you use
this ability and when you maintain it on subsequent turns with a bonus
action, you can target one creature within 60 feet of you that can hear you
with one of the following effects: •
Soothing Verse. Target
creature gains temporary hit points equal to a roll of your bardic
performance die + your Charisma modifier. •
Spiteful Verse. Target
creature must make a Constitution saving throw or take thunder damage equal
to a roll of your bardic performance die + your Charisma modifier. •
Slow Verse. Target
creature has its speed reduced by 10 feet until the beginning of your next
turn. •
Upbeat Verse. Target
creature has its speed increased by 10 feet until the beginning of your next
turn. You must be
wielding an instrument to use this ability. Epic Ballad Beginning at
14th level, when you use your ‘bardic performance’ feature, you change it in
the following ways: •
Inspired creatures gain the effect
of all your bardic charms instead of only one. •
Inspired creatures can use your
bardic performance dice one additional time before the effect ends for that
creature. •
This performance also counts as a
‘minstrel’s performance’ for the duration. You can use
this ability once between long rests. |
