Bulky.
This creature has proficiency in Strength and
Constitution saving throws. Deep
Adaptation. This creature has darkvision
to a range of 120 feet. In addition, this creature has disadvantage on
Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight when it or whatever it is
trying to perceive is in bright light. Firm
Grip. This creature can grapple creatures of any
size. If this creature grapples a creature that is larger than itself, the grappled
creature’s speed is not reduced to 0. Instead, this creature moves into the grappled
creature’s space and attaches itself to the grappled creature until
the grapple ends. While attached to another creature, this creature
automatically moves with this creature when it moves. While grappled in this
way, the grappled creature has disadvantage on attack rolls against
this creature and its speed is halved. Keen
senses (sight). This creature has advantage on Wisdom
(perception) checks that rely on sight. Large
(counts as 2 wild traits). This creature’s size
is large and as a result this creature adds 10 to all its speeds and a 1d4
damage bonus to its melee damage rolls. The large trait replaces the
template’s physical ability scores with: Strength 17 (+3), Dex 12 (+1), Con 16
(+3). Special
Attack: Crushing Jaw. This creature can use a
bonus action to make a special attack, crushing jaw: •
Crushing Jaw . Melee
attack, reach 5 ft., 1d10 bludgeoning damage. If this
creature is already grappling the target, this attack automatically
hits the target. Multiattack:
Writhing Tentacles (counts as 2 wild traits). This
creature can use a bonus action to make a special attack, writhing tentacles: •
Writhing Tentacles. Melee
attack, reach 10 ft., On a hit, the target is grappled.
If the target was already grappled when hit by the writhing
tentacles, the target is also restrained until the grapple
ends. This creature can grapple and restrain up to 4 creatures with this
trait. A target that is larger than this creature is immune to being restrained
by this attack. Natural
Camouflage. When this creature
takes the hide action, it can attempt to hide by pressing itself up against a
solid surface, allowing it to hide in plain sight. If this creature hides
against a surface, it remains hidden for as long as it remains there without
moving or taking actions. If this creature moves or takes an action or a
reaction, it is revealed. Any creature that observes this creature hide in
this way remains aware of this creature’s location. Protective
Shell. This creature gains a +2 bonus to its
armour class. Skilled
Hunter. This creature has proficiency in Perception
and Stealth. If this creature is already proficient with both of these
skills, it instead gains expertise in one of these skills. Toxic
Skin. This creature’s skin is covered in a toxic
mucus. Once on a turn, a creature that comes in contact with the mucus must
make a Constitution saving throw or become fatigued until the end of its next
turn. If the target rolls a 1 on the saving throw, it becomes paralysed
instead. A creature comes in contact with the mucus: •
If it hits this creature with an unarmed strike. •
If it ends its turn grappled or restrained
by this creature (or grappling or restraining this creature). •
When this creature hits it with an unarmed strike, it
can forgo dealing damage to instead touch the target with the mucus. Swimmer.
This creature has a swim speed of 40 feet. If this
creature already has a swim speed, its swim speed is instead increased by 20
feet. While this creature is submerged in water, it can take the dash action
as a bonus action. This creature can also breathe water. |
